Beginner Arabic 2 is for you if you're familiar with the basics of the alphabet, pronunciation, and introducing yourself and others.
Start here if you've already completed level 1 with us, or if you've studied Arabic before and can confidently introduce yourself in Arabic, as well as read and write Arabic script.

With a small group (averaging six students per class and capped at ten), you'll have an opportunity to engage in conversational Arabic with other language learners with realtime feedback from the instructor.
By the end of our level one course, you’ll be able to go shopping at a market, order food in a restaurant, begin to speak about the past, and learn to use a traditional Arabic dictionary.
We love questions, almost as much as we love providing answers. Here are a few samplings of what we're typically asked, along with our responses
We know our students and teachers probably have holiday plans, so we don't hold classes on Federal holidays.
Plans change - we get it. You have until 7 days before the start date of your group course to make any cancelations or transfers. After that, we unfortunately cannot offer any refunds.
All of our group classes meet for a total of 20 hours of live instruction. Some courses meet 2 hours once a week for 10 sessions, while others meet 1 hour twice a week for a total of 20 sessions.
Only students 18 years or older can participate in this course. If you are looking for options for students under 18, please check out our Kids and Teens page!
As long as the group course has not been cancelled or it has spots left, there is no deadline to sign up. However, we strongly encourage you to sign up at least two weeks in advance in order to secure your spot!
If you feel your level isn't the right fit, reach out to help@cricketmedia.com before your second class and we will transfer you to a better fit, free of charge!
